Vicar on the move!

Dear Christ Church Dingley Family,

We have been blown away by the generosity and kindness of so many of you in your gifts and words of affirmation, your prayers and best wishes. The farewell services on Sunday were all that we could have wanted and more. We feel filled up in every way and blessed by you with confidence from your love in the Lord to face the new opportunities and challenges that await us.

Thank you to everyone who was involved in the organization and activities of the day.  It was a joy to have this time with you all and to also receive greetings from a number of those who were not able to attend on the day. I am sorry to those who were not able to join in because of the Covid numbers’ limitation. Please access the service and ‘formalities’ that followed on the closed CCD Facebook site at  https://www.facebook.com/groups/49291187181 If you are not currently a member please join up.

A special bonus of the day was the Silent Auction that raised $475 for ‘Hands at Work’ in Baraka, Zambia. Thanks, Paul Fong Lip for your generous initiative that triggered this effort and for all who provided goods for auction.

Roslyn and I now embark on five weeks of Annual Leave during which time we are liaising with builders, painters and carpet layers to renovate our house in Noble Park that we will be moving into – hopefully in the first week in August.

Our induction service at St Michael and All Angels Beaumaris is on Weds 11 August at 7.30 pm. You are all welcome to attend. (Numbers will of course depending on the Covid state at the time). Please indicate your intention to come by contacting the CCD office for catering purposes. 95517871 or admin@ccd.org.au

Thank you all so very much for your love expressed so beautifully and generously toward us.
You are very dear to our hearts.

God bless you and keep you close to his heart and to one another in the love of Christ.

Yours with love,

Wayne and Roslyn
